Clovis has an almost golf ball sized lump at the end of her incision

the incision is about 4 or 5 inches long. At the top end, a lump appeared this morning that is somewhere between the size of a walnut and a golf ball. It wasn't there Friday night or Saturday night. Does anyone know what may cause that? I tried to take a photo but of course that was the precise moment when the battery went out. I'll try to get one later today.

On the brighter side, her appetite returned big time this morning and she is much more playful too.

Thanks.

Ear Infection

So Stella has an yeast infection in her ear and one side of her nose rope. Any suggestions on things to help her not be so itchy. The vet gave her Ottomax (spelling) drops but she still is a really itchy. She's actually scratched herself pretty bad and it looks like she has some carpet burn behind the ear. Any recommendations on something to make her less itchy?

Heat this soon after delivery?

My Belle had her pups 4 weeks ago today. I noticed that she had a drop of blood from her this evening. It was bright red. Her discharge had completely cleared and stopped this past week. She isn't nursing the pups as much this week either.

Could she be coming into heat so soon after having her pups?

Limping

Last night my dog started limping after she woke up, She was playing with my other bully. Then she took a nap and woke up limping. She has her left hind leg held up. She puts it down and walk for a min then she holds up again. It looks kind of twisted. She will be going to the vet on the morning. But i wanted to know what you all think happen to it.
Thanks

winter boots

Does anyone have a brand or know an online store where I can get some nice warm anti slip boots for my bullies for the snow to protect their tender feet?

Alimentum vs Esbilac?

Any suggestions?

Not producing enough breast milk?

Home with 8 2 day old little ones and momma is just not making enough milk. Pups are ranging from 1 lb to 11.5 oz. Doc sent me home with 3 syringes of oxytocin (.5 ml). Q: is there a maximum limit to give oxytocin? ie: everyday for a week.

Momma though spends a lot of time just looking and grabing at them but not sure what to do with them. Looks like bottle feeding for awhile.

Loooong night in the pantry/laundry room. Can't understand why the home builder didn't put a window
in here.

OK, been a while...is pumpkin ok for loose stools?

I've got Maddie on Natural Balance Venison and Sweet Potato. She's getting a half cup dry and "eyeballing" maybe 1/4 - 1/3 cup canned Venison & Sweet Potato twice a day.

Her energy level's pretty good (follows us everywhere), but I'm concerned because she's turning 8 next month. She could lose a pound or two because she's very short and wide-chested and thick about the middle. Being lighter would be better for her joints. I've noticed that she does struggle a bit to squat and go poo.

Sore jaw or something else?

Our 3yr old male is having problems opening his mouth wide. He won't even let us open & have a look.
He eats & barks OK. But he'll cry if he goes to yawn (open his mouth wide)
Has anyone came across this before? I'm bringing him to the vet tomorrow for x rays.

Cryptorchidism

Boozer is almost 6 months now, when we got him at 11 weeks the breeder mentioned that he has an undescended testicle, when he was 6 weeks both of his 'berries' were up there undescended but one already made its way down to the right spot while the other one is still up there.
The vet mentioned that when we neutered him she will have to dig further and look for the lost one.
I called the breeder a couple of months ago and she mentioned that all of her bullies had two testicles even if took a little longer.
