OK, been a while...is pumpkin ok for loose stools?

I've got Maddie on Natural Balance Venison and Sweet Potato. She's getting a half cup dry and "eyeballing" maybe 1/4 - 1/3 cup canned Venison & Sweet Potato twice a day.

Her energy level's pretty good (follows us everywhere), but I'm concerned because she's turning 8 next month. She could lose a pound or two because she's very short and wide-chested and thick about the middle. Being lighter would be better for her joints. I've noticed that she does struggle a bit to squat and go poo.

What about a little natural applesauce? (She can't eat dry kibble alone cuz of her jaw and upper palate misalignment.)

She's currently on antibiotics for skin/ear issues. Stools are not runny, but very soft.

Thanks a bunch...

Pumpkin is fine or you could also mix 1 tablespoon of Kelloggs A

her food. All Bran works the same as pumpkin on dogs.
