We have beed debating weather to breed our female Pepper. She is about 5 years old and has never been bread. She is a big girl, and has an elongated palate. I feel that it is not a good idea, becuase i think that with the extra weight and the elongated palate would complicate the situation. I am just courious if you all have had any issues with this type of situation.

Roxy has really been licking her feet lately. She has always done it, but it's been worse lately. She has allergies, which I assume give her the itchy feet. The allergies are environmental, so we really can't get rid of them (unless we have her live in a plastic bubble!!)
Anyway - with all of the licking, her feet are really getting stinky. I can smell them when we are sitting on the couch together.
Dear all,
I have a 12 yr old kelpie named Gabby and she needs a teeth cleaning. We realized this and the vet confirmed it about 6 months ago... we were hesitant at first because we thought since we just got her from the rescue, maybe there was a way for us to start brushing her teeth now to reverse and remove some of the yuckiness in her mouth...
now we notice that her breath is getting worse, so we have to do the teeth cleaning... is there any other way to clean their teeth without putting them under the anesthesia??
For those who supplement with cranberry for UT health. I just wanted to make sure before I started giving this that it was all right.
I purchased the the supplement in the human vitamin section. It's 500mg of cranberry powder per capsule. Is that too much? It says "1 per day dose, Super Strength".
I though I would open the capsule into her food so it would digest.
Opinions please. Thanks

Hello! I'm so thrilled to have found this group. My 10 week old Bulldog is eating a mixture of Canidae all stages and California Natural and he's been having soft, mushy poop (not technically diarrea) ever since he got home. The breeder wants me to put him on frozen bil-jac to firm up the poop because he was also on that before he came home. But she doesn't want him on the biljac long--term because she says Bil-jac isn't natural enough. Should I mix the Bil-jac in with his other food or start looking into other options?
I posted a couple days ago about my puppy with the bumps and red bumps on his belly. I started the capstar and the milbemycin oxime that the vet told me to give him these daily along with an antibiotic simplicef and on the third day he vomitted a little at night but last night he vomitted alot and was salivating also he got hives and the red bumps got really red. These seems like an adverse reaction so should I stop these 2 meds and just give him the antibiotics and let my vet know on Monday?
Charlie just coughed up a huige anmt of phelm..it was clear in colour.. He is now at the door barking wanting to go out and play.
Should I rush him to the emergency vet or hold on..
Mocha's cyst started getting worse. As I mentioned in a previous post I have been soaking it in the Epsom Salt with water for 2 weeks. Recently switched her food slowly to Natural Balance fish & sweet potato and added a Salmon Oil to her food. Shouldn't it be better by now??? It's been a total of 3 weeks since it first popped up. What else can I do??
This is what her cyst looks like now!
I mentioned on a post below about charlies cough.
I had others say it ounds like kennel cough.
since his daycare had it , I suspect it may be..even though he had his kc sprays etc.
Now, the vet is closed till monday.
Its not serious yet..he is stil eating , playing, getting into trouble.
I have some cephalexin caps an wonder if this can be used for kennel cough?
