you should never.....

let him around other dogs....if its kennel cough those other dog will get it also...its that easy to spread....as hard as it is wait five days....or get an all clear from the vet....
kennel cough is a bitch to get rid of....its more annoying than life threathing....
i had a show dog returned to me from a handler who had gotten kc he never told me...well 15 dogs got it and it went round and round for a good month...
no more play dates till the baby has an all clear....

Sounds like he's okay.

Re: if its clear.....

Thanks..
Its clear mucous.
I took charlie outside to go for a car ride..well his 2 lab friends were out playing and charlie jumped right in..I tried to stop him..him being ill and all.. but he had no part of it, I gave up and let him play for 10 mins. Then out for a car ride.
He is a crazy boy!

My Spike does this too

When he does, the mucous is very thick and frothy, I give him some 7 up or sprite, lemon juice to make it dissolve. He doesn't like the lemon juice, but it does help.
