Tank, our year and a half bulldog just threw up a small amount of blood this morning. This is the first time this has happened and he seems fine otherwise. He is playing like normal. Our vet is closed right now and we are hesitant to take him to the emergency room due to the high cost. Is there anything we should be looking out for? Any ideas about what it might be?
Thank you for your help!

So we delivered 6 puppies today via C-section. One that was stuck in the birth canal didn't make it and we brought the other 5 home. There was another one that the vet was very concerned about that has been laboring to breath. I just tube fed her because she was so lethargic that when I put the other 4 on momma, she just didn't have the strength to try. When she would breath...she would open her mouth and gasp..every breath.
So Dink has been much better since being on meds and some prescription food from the vet. Everything seems back to normal. He has been back on his regular food for a day and a half. He eats Natural Balance duck and potato and today he has the runs again so I'm thinking that the duck and potato is just not settling well on his tummy. Anyone have any suggestions for a different food.
Currently, I am feeding Red doghttp://www.reddogdeli.com/
These others are located right in BC. I was surprise to find so many in my province.

does anyone use canned dog food? I am thinking about my two 12 yr old lab mixes. They have been on dry all their lives, have no issues except for arthritis. They smell Audrey's raw food and I feel bad putting a bowl of dry in front of them. I can NOT afford to feed all 3 raw, and Audrey is the only one with food realted issues. Just wondering if anyone has any canned food experience?

well besides the fact that the cat got caught munching out of her bowl while I was letting it warm up a bit, nothing new to report. Her tummy was growling this morning, she was HUNGRY! Poos are no different, still very firm and much less. My husband commented on how beautiful she looks this am, she is VERY glossy and so soft. I have been looking into the meat grinders, and so far they seem to be in the $300-$500 range.
raw meaty bones as part of the diet and recreational meaty bones. I shuld have read this before!

I have a bully expecting to have pups (8, oh no!!!) next thursday and this morning I went to checkup on her and noticed she had wet her blanket in the whelping box. Not a huge wet area but noticable. I noticed it looked different than an ordinary pee stain. It seemed to have a shiny/ oily look to it. So I touched it and yes even smelted it and it didn't smell like pee. I took her temp which was normal, no panting or her looking like she was in any discomfort.
Sarge was shaved totally in the hind area at the end of July and the fur is starting to grow back very slowly. Has any other pup had this experience? We are wondering how long it will be before the fur is grown back to normal. Thank you for any help!!
What are the best wipes to use on my bulldogs wrinkles?
