Is this a growth? (pics)

I noticed this bump on Hurley's paw a little while ago. It kind of crept up on me because it grew in size very slowly. Then just the other day it started to bleed. Is this a growth that needs to be removed. It's probably time to take him to the vet, right?

Thanks.

Brandon

cephalexin dosage

anyone remember what the dosage has been for their bully on cephalexin? bubba is 60lbs

Tug needs help!!

We have been trying to wean Tug off the Steroids over the past few weeks so he can get allergy testing done. It seems to be taking a toll on him though and i'm really concerned. At the vet appointment the ladies were raving about how big he has gotten (68lbs) and about how healthy and good his coat looked.

Florida

I'm glad you asked this question. We are in the process of looking at moving to Florida also. Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda or Venice. We are now in Wisconsin. As long as we keep them in an air conditioned enviroment they should be fine. We have hot and very humid conditions here in the summer and we limit their outdoor time and keep them cool inside. Wonder if it would be the same? Look forward to hearing responses.

Tuffy post cherry eye photos!

Good evening! Thanks again for everyone's support and I wanted to let you know Tuffy is home safe and sound. When he first got home he was a little bit out of sorts and starved (he couldn't eat all day) but now he's back to his old self and so happy to be home. He just wants to snuggle, give licks and eat. His eyes look 100% better in my opinion. The vet said that the gland from the first eye that popped was unsalvagable so the repositioning would have been pointless.

moving a bully from cold to hot climate?

Hi all,
We are considering a move from Boston to Florida. I'm concerned our 10 year old bully Ozzy will have trouble with the florida heat, especially since he has lived his whole life with cold, cool, and warm weather.
Anyone have experience with this?
Thoughts?

thanks,
jen & ozzy

Yay a rep for BCARN emailed me!! :-)

They have 2 females in my state that she thinks would be great candidates for our home. I'm so excited! She has an appt on sat to try and adopt one of them out so i have to get back with her sat and see who's left. But both girls are gorgeous and seem like sweet bullies.

Judy, I need to pick your brain some more!

I do not know why I am so daunted about feeding Audrey food I prepare, but for some reason it seems to scare me. I have a few more questions if you don't mind???

Do you grind all your chicken meat, like boneless breasts, or just the stuff that has bones in it?

Do you mix in the organ meats and make one mixture to feed, or keep things separate and feed individual bits of it?

I know this has been asked before but....

Our little girl is going to have to get the surgery for elongated soft palate. Can you give me some idea's on the cost of this?? Thanks so much.

Need good thoughts for Tuffy!

Sorry if this is a duplicate post but I thought I posted this message but can't find it anywhere...

Anyway, Tuffy's going to the vet tomorrow to take care of his two cherry eyes. After much research and soul searching we are opting for the snipping procedure. If you can send some positive vibes our way, it would be much appreciated. Here are some recent pictures of my Big Guy. One from a couple of weeks ago prior to Cherry eye and the second, sad faced Tuffy speaks for itself!
