moving a bully from cold to hot climate?

Hi all,
We are considering a move from Boston to Florida. I'm concerned our 10 year old bully Ozzy will have trouble with the florida heat, especially since he has lived his whole life with cold, cool, and warm weather.
Anyone have experience with this?
Thoughts?

thanks,
jen & ozzy

We are in Fl with 3 bullies!

I am just very careful and limit the extra time outside. We always have the ceiling fans with A/C on..They esp.love ice cubes too!!

We live in Arizona...

and it's prettyhot here. We just make sure that they are inside in air conditioning and walk them late at night or early morning before it gets broiling. I know Florida has more humidity than Phoenix, so you will have to be even more careful about overheating.
