Chester ate a piece of thin foam rubber and...

now he's doing a lot of drooling, probably nausea? It was from an old hanger from the drycleaner when they used to put a thin layer of foam on the hanger so it didn't make marks on the clothes. I found the other half of it on the floor, so I'm pretty sure he ate it. It's very old and will probably get through him unless he throws it up. I gave him bread with olive oil on it hoping it will grease the way. Any other ideas?

Arthritis question

The vet is suspecting a strained or torn ACL on my PollyAnna's back hind knee. She also has some swelling also and a red area on the inside of this leg. It looks like she might also have arthritis setting in. She has been licking this area excessively. Do you all think that it is just her way of soothing the pain by licking it? She is on Prevacox for pain and lameness and will be getting an X-Ray after Christmas. What will they be looking for on the X-Ray because I know muscle does not show up on them.

Supplements question

Food discussions are here by the numbers, but what about supplements? What should be key in the supplements we give our bullies? I am curious, I chose mine based upon protein because of Josies health condition at the time. Maybe I should be aware of something else supplements should include? Suggestions on ones that may be better than others? Or should they have to be given at all if balanced diet? So who wants to chime in on this one? Thanks J & T
