well, I WISH I could be posting that she has a clean face, but sadly I can not. Still brown tear stains. Good thing however is that there is still no yeasty smell, and no yeasty ears. She has 3 days left of the lamb food, we will get her beef next. We are pretty positive now that it IS grains she is allergic to. My daughter is home from college and completely forgot and gave her a bite of her bagel. Later that evening Audrey was scratching her face on the carpet. We thought, it was only ONE bite of bagel, it could very well be a coincidence.

I am still trying to figure out why my Gunther is constantly licking his paws. I wondered if it was just a habit, and then someone suggested a yeast allergy. What foods contain yeast?

He is currently eating raw beef without grains, but he does get some treats: fruits, dog cookies, etc...

Buster just turned 7 in september. I noticed some dark urine and blood recently and took him to the vet. They initially treated him for a UTI because his urine showed a trace amount of blood, protein and white cells. I took him back for a recheck today and his urine is still dark and cloudy, no blood but the protein and white cells are the same. They did an x-ray and there are three round things in his bladder and maybe some back toward the kidney. His bladder wasn't full enough for them to get a clear picture.

just wondering what is some of everyones first signs of your female being pregnant...my girls first breeding was Dec 5th and the second was the 7th. Right now she is having a tablespoon of natural yogurt and at night she has a tablespoon of cottage cheese. she has been on wellness for 2 years. thanks in advance for you input!

my bullie makes swallowing noises at night? You can hear every gulp as he swallows. Could it be his thyroid? He is 4 years old and he has never had bloodwork done. We clean his teeth so I know he has nothing stuck in his teeth. PLease help. It keeps us up at night. He is fine during the day, only happens at night. Thanks!

How is the best way to explain how one goes about the decision to neuter or not to the "average joe" (gender specific if you get my drift)? I have had this question asked to me a couple of times lately and I know what I say, but would like to have the opinion of board members how they would go about this to an inquiring male mind. Any and all suggestions will be appreciated.

Merry Christmas....I just had my puppies evaluated by one of the top breeders and he said he would like to see the puppies chubbier and that he adds condensed milk to the kibble. Does anyone do this? Its the holidays so he is away and can't get a response from him. I wanted to know for how long and do I dilute it? Do they start the gruel process with this from the 3 week part. I have them on Natural Balance sweet potato and fish. Any help would be appreciated.
