What does it mean when..............
Submitted by pops1102 on April 21, 2010 - 12:30ammy bullie makes swallowing noises at night? You can hear every gulp as he swallows. Could it be his thyroid? He is 4 years old and he has never had bloodwork done. We clean his teeth so I know he has nothing stuck in his teeth. PLease help. It keeps us up at night. He is fine during the day, only happens at night. Thanks!

Had a bully doing this and vet told me if she's doing it after being woken up from snoring it mightbe a breathing problem, if it was done after eating a meal it could be a reflux issue. Acid coming up from the stomach.
