Does anyone know where to get a wheelchair/cart for my Frenchie? I've looked them up online and am shocked at how expensive they are. I have at least 6 weeks before I can even try anything like that for him, but I thought I'd start looking
This is an unusual question to pose but my old bully will be 13yrs if she makes it to March 2 and I've mentioned other times how crippled with arthritis she is now, having to be carried out to potty. I've seen this weakness progress so I don't believe she's had a stroke but there is one thing that I'm mulling over and that is a slight change in head/skull appearance.
Hey everyone! Have not been on here for a while after I started my new job. Hopefully I can post more after my training.
Anyway, yesterday Toby was reaching for human food on a table and he turn his head and body in an awkward position. Then right after both his back legs started limping, like he has lost muscle control.
We are feeding NB sweet potato and venison and have been for about 2-3 months. Everything was going great both our bullies have good stools still and they love the food and treats, however Dink is still having an issue with his feet and face (licking, scratching and turning brown) and they both are having horrible gas. I know gas is normal here and there but this is ALL DAY and the smell is even worse. Looking for advice on a food that is easy on the stomach and still helps with skin issues. Any and all posts are appreciated!
Cooper has been on Natural Balance sweet potato and chicken for a few months now.. He is 10 months old and when we first started him on it he seemed to love it. ( It was what I switched him to from his puppy food). I live by pet smart but actually drive out of my way to purchase it at petco. ( I heard alot of good things on this forum about Natural balance and grain free etc.. So I wanted to try it. However it seems he actually will not eat it at all by itself lately.. I try to give it for treats and he turns his nose up at it.
Does anyone use Tea Tree Oil (TTO) with eye problems? If so, how do you use it? In the eye or just on the outside? I assume you dilute it but what are the ratios? And what do you use to dilute with?
I read on the rescue forum about using this and getting good results but I need more information.
I have had great (and I mean GREAT) results with an ear cleaner with TTO and I have high hopes for the eyes!
Thanks for any input you have!
He has now started to get real phlemy and tries to get it up but nothing comes out. How many time do they need their palates trimmed? I am concerned because he was supposed to have a narrow trach, but the vet who did his surgery when he was about 6 months old said it wasn't too bad. He also is having anal gland issues and they want to remove them, also a concern because of the nerves around the anus. Any suggestions?
Needing to get stools solid. Pumpkin in a can??? and how much???
