Buttercup is still at the vet on IV. I applied ProMeris on Thurs. and she started vomiting everything on Fri. morning. She didn't eat all weekend but kept drinking and vomiting. She was kept at the hospital on Tues (they were closed mon) and visited her today. She's like a zombie. She is unaware of her surroundings and weak in the rear.
I've heard from several people with the same first hand experience. Please BE CAREFUL.
We can only hope she can come home tomorrow.

Hello! I've been transitioning Tuffy to a new food (from C.Natural to Fromm) but he's still experiencing soft poop. The only time it's really firm is first thing in the morning before breakfast and maybe midmorning and then as day goes on it becomes mushier and mushier. I'm thinking that he might still not be getting enough fiber. Right now I'm giving 50% C. natural (2% fiber) and 50% Fromm (3.5% fiber).I read an article online by a vet that sometimes a 1/4-1/2 teaspoon of metamucil will help.
I have a feeling George may have it, but I want to see what it looks like on other bullies. I looked online and I could only find severe cases in which most of their hair is missing!
Thanks so much!
If I am going to purchase some probiotics in powder form for our two is there any difference between human probiotics that I can get from a health food store and pet probiotics?? I would think there is no difference but I just wanted to make sure.
Thanks.
I am thinking the Orijen red meat is a little too rich for one of our guys so wondering what if anyone has tried this formula and what their thoughts were.
Thanks!
Well, today was the first day I decided to let my dogs just eat a bone-in chicken breast. They have all been eating ground up home made raw, (and Audery still gets her Primal once a day), for a few days now. All I can say is Y U C K!!!!!
The big dogs handled it fine, they actually LOVE their raw food, ground or not. BUT....what's the FIRST thing Bridget did? She took hers out of her bowl on the easily cleaned tile and dumped it onto the NOT so easily cleaned carpet. Yes. RAW chicken bits in the CARPET. That is NOT going to work.
Buddy's tail pocket has some brown stuff noticeable when wiped, as well as hair comming out. I cleaned it, and added Neo-Sporin in there, like in the med. page. Anything else? I wipe him with baby wipes with aloe vera, and the Neo-Sporin has pain relief, though he is in no pain, I can tell he likes it to be cleaned.
has anyone heard ofa nasal procedure, where the vet clips a slit on each side of the nostril? if so just what is advantage of having this done or purpose??
Hello all
I think I have this covered based upon other threads around similar behavior, however I still wanted to check with the experts of this site
My bulldog has vomited first thing in the am 3-4 times over the past few weeks. She has never exhibited this behavior before. She has been eating more though since I switched her food (It's probably been a month now)
It's all bile (very yellowy)
