Does anyone use Tea Tree Oil (TTO) with eye problems? If so, how do you use it? In the eye or just on the outside? I assume you dilute it but what are the ratios? And what do you use to dilute with?
I read on the rescue forum about using this and getting good results but I need more information.
I have had great (and I mean GREAT) results with an ear cleaner with TTO and I have high hopes for the eyes!
Thanks for any input you have!
***thanks everyone!***
I appreciate your information!
I've only used TTO
I've only used TTO when it's in a shampoo base as a flea/tick preventative Annie. Hope all is well.
All the best, Al and Brisket.
NO!
Unless the products states for use in the eyes(which I don't think would include TTO) teatree oil should NOT be used around mucous membranes. If you are looking for a natural eye wipe colliodial silver diluted with distilled water makes a good option if you are seeking antibacterial/antifungal properties. Buy your colloidal silver from reputable source as there are alot of "cheap" imitations on the market. The silver used to be used as an antibiotic in the early 20th century until the cheaper A/B like penicillin come along.
Good luck!

To those who understand no explanation is needed. To those who don't no explanation is possible.
Hmmm
for the eyes huh? I'm not sure about that but I use a tea tree oil shampoo and I LOVE it for his skin and coat. So many uses, huh?
