Cooper has been on Natural Balance sweet potato and chicken for a few months now.. He is 10 months old and when we first started him on it he seemed to love it. ( It was what I switched him to from his puppy food). I live by pet smart but actually drive out of my way to purchase it at petco. ( I heard alot of good things on this forum about Natural balance and grain free etc.. So I wanted to try it. However it seems he actually will not eat it at all by itself lately.. I try to give it for treats and he turns his nose up at it. He always ate his puppy food and seemed to look forward to it. My question is do you think I should try a different flavor I was thinking about trying the fish and sweet potato. Do I have to due the gradual transition if it is the same type of food just different protein. ????? Thanks for any suggestions.
I'd switch!
My parents have labordoodles who love the fish and sweet potato NB formula. You might want to do a gradual change for a couple of days to make sure it agrees with him but I think that if it's the same brand you should probably be fine. Good luck!

gradual...
....mix when switching even with the same brand was what I was told when I called NB. They were great with me on the phone and I asked for a sample bag of the Limited ingredients fish and sweet potato and they sent me 10 small bags. Since I stud my male out I sent them my stud business card, and they didn't even charge me for shipping and handling.

yes, try another flavor..
switching slow or fast is up you you. I usually just change foods if one isn't working.
