Droopy eyes

Mason will be 6 in April and I have noticed in the last 6 months or so his eyes have gotten really droopy. Does this normally happen when they get older or could something be wrong with his eyes? I plan on bringing him to the vet to see what he says too but figured I would ask all of your opinions also. Here is a picture of Mason were you can really see his droopy eyes. He does have major major allergies too so I don't know if that could have anything to do with it either.

are idc's related to stress?

Dear all,

Kibby went to the vet on Monday to have her nails trimmed.. then the next day she developed an idc. The idc has come and gone now maybe about 3 times since Jan, each time , in the same place and it will go away within a week or so, without any special treatment, just some cleaning. It never gets oozy or anything, just swollen.

This time, her IDC is completely gone already. I also remember her last one came, right after we took her to the vet for a follow up on her ear infections.

Vet visit advice PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took Bubba to the vet last night. For the past couple of weeks he has been displaying symptoms of allergies. His eyes are red and watery and goopy, he has been licking the air and acting lethargic.

Audrey's vet visit

went very well. Her ears are clear! One is still a bit gooky and will need to be cleaned 2x a week for a bit but no more meds in them. I found an AWESOME store that sells frozen RAW foods and many variety's of grain free dry and canned food. They also have freeze dried grain free food which solved a big problem for me: I had NO idea what to give Audrey for training treats at obedience class!

James and Tank--glad to help

I know sometimes it can be frustrating to have to pay the office visit and the health check fee a vet charges when you "know" exactly what you need. I definately do not encourage anyone to self-medicate and it is always possible that a vet will discover an issue that you had no idea existed. I do not know what your vet charged for the 2 meds you mentioned but both are very common meds. The triple abx you received for eyes (BNP) costs me 10.99 per tube or $9 if I have a script.

Pooping some type of fabric

Buttercup has been pooping out some type of fabric. It's long and I have to help him get it out.

Should I just let it all come-out? Is there anything to look-out for?

Milk not satisfying pups, toxic milk?

Whew, last night was awful. The other day I posted how one of my pups was constipated and I gave her an enema, etc. I talked to my mentor and she said that very rarely do puppies get constipated on mom's milk. Well yesterday, I noticed the same problem with another pup.

Audrey has thrown up 3x this week!

She has been on TOTW for 5 days and has thrown up 3 times. No treats at all except for plain chicken, occasional cheese and yogurt drops,(she's had these a LOT and they never bothered her before). She always throws up in the morning. On my bed. Before we switched her food she would occasionally throw up in the morning(2x a month) yellow bile. I need to get her a new bag of food and now I don't know if I should try something else or give it more time.

raw vs cooked

I am tired of my baby's brown, stinky, itchy face and I think that instead of trying several types of dog food I'm just going to feed her either a RAW diet or cook for her. Does anyone have long term experience with either of these? Does it really work for face staining and itchng? She has a beautiful shiny coat, not willing to sacrifice that. But she also has been throwing up frequently, that needs to stop. ANY help is very greatly appreciated.
