She has been on TOTW for 5 days and has thrown up 3 times. No treats at all except for plain chicken, occasional cheese and yogurt drops,(she's had these a LOT and they never bothered her before). She always throws up in the morning. On my bed. Before we switched her food she would occasionally throw up in the morning(2x a month) yellow bile. I need to get her a new bag of food and now I don't know if I should try something else or give it more time. Her face is still brown, but the redness isn't so prominent unless she hits it on the furniture (last night she whacked herself in the eye with a rope tug toy so it's a bit red this am- crazy dog!)but I defintiely see that her face is not getting any worse, it has reached a stopping point. I think it looks a bit cleaner, but it really may be wishful thinking on my part beacuse I want it to so badly. So what now? I have been reading a lot about RAW and so far I have seen a lot of what COULD happen (negatively speaking) with no evidence or research to prove that it actually HAS happened. I have heard some wonderful things, but then again on sites promoting it I fell any negatives are overlooked or downplayed. Then there is cooking for her. No bacterial or parasitic worries but is it at the sacrifice of nutritional value? My head is spinning! I am going to start a new RAW vs cooked thread, I really hope some people with experience in both respond!

when she first came home
Since she has been eating TOTW for only five days
and she has vomitted undigested for 3 times, seems reasonable to assume the TOTW is not the food for her. Finding the right food for your dog is purely trial and error, every dog is different.
We have been using the same dog food for 10 years, have had a minimum of 5 dogs here at any given time, lots of fosters and have had no problems with the food but I know lots of people have tried the food with terrible results. Maybe the protein source isn't right for Audrey, try buying a small bag of something different and see how it goes.
If you do a Search on this board, you will find endless postings on food and food related issues.
Good luck

Good, you're talking to your vet
If I remember correctly, you have her on TOTW Pacific Stream? If so, stop giving her chicken (a different protein source).
I don't know about your area, but there's some kind of virus going around here, and ALL the dogs are vomiting (some with diarrhea, too). It makes taking care of 40 dogs in Day Care an adventure...
Also, when you switch foods, there's often a "gets worse before it gets better" phase as the body de-toxes. You may have to give her more time. Of course, you don't want to take chances with your girl (and puking is never fun). So, good you're taking her to the vet.
Let us know how it turns out.

she is going back to the vet today
to get her ears re-checked so I'll ask him. She seems to throw up about 12 hours after she eats her evening meal. She eats around 8am , then again at 6pm. She has been throwing up food around 6-6:30 am. SUCH a fun thing to be woken up to!

when she first came home
now she is throwing up food
before it was just yellow bile. Sunday and Tuesday am she threw up a LOT of food. She gets 3/4 cup at a time and there was a lot of whole undigested piecse in it.

Idea.....
Oliver was throwing up his food at least a few times a week at one point. He would throw up a good amount of food about 5 or more hours after eating. We talked to our vet (very good bulldog vet) and he suggested giving him TUMS because it could be an acid reflux thing. We started giving him TUMS after eating and sporadically as treats during the day. Throwing up has stopped. So that is something you could also try.
Is she throwing up food?
And if she is only vomitting in the morning, it may not be food related but caused by an empty stomach. Try giving her a snack before bedtime.

my other ones got diarrhea with totw pacific stream too
they are now eating Wellness super5 mix, someone recommended here and it helped alot, no more diarrhea, it's starting to firm up and good thing is that it has weight control with less fat.
