9 day old puppies, your thoughts please

Hi, my babies have made it to 9 days old today. (first litter) Does anyone have a chart on how much they should have gained or how much they should weigh by now?

At birth they ranged between 13.5-16.4, now they range between 24.6-28.1 an average gain of 11.6 oz. Does this seem within normal limits or does it matter? I have had 2 nights that they didn't get us up to nurse, they slept 6 hours...should I be concerned?

Thanks,
Heather

Can you see the bald spot?

Recently my husband and i noticed dozer has a thinning spot on his ribcage where he used to have more hair. The skin doesnt appear to be irritated or anything, just losing hair in this spot and you can see his freckles underneath. What could be going on? We havent changed his food or anything and other wise he acts fine.

Any advise?

Two weeks ago we switched Boris from Science Diet to Natural Balance chicken and sweet potato. The pet store said that Boris would need to "detoxify". If that means having the runs for two weeks straight I'm not sold on the new food.

We switched because we feared that the Science Diet was contributing to his head shakes..which happened yesterday again. We've gradually mixed the food down as directed but he's still loose as a goose.

Can anyone help me with this problem?

Hi Guys

We have a litter of 9 lovely Bulldog babies who are now 12 days old but we have a problem with 2 of them, both have a swollen toe on the end of one of their feet and it has split. We took them to the vet who is unable to tell us what they are because he has never seen it before. He has givent hem a shot of antibiotics for infection but does anyone else know what they are or have any advice?

Here are some pics:

squamous cell cancer

Has anyone ever had a dog that has had squamous cell cancer on their tonsil? I have just found out that my 12 almost 13 year old bully has it. He went in for a routine dental cleaning and the tumor was found on his tonsil. Our vet did an x-ray and so far it has not spread. He removed the tumor but was not able to get it all. I realize that this is a very aggressive form of cancer and it can't be treated with any medicines. I would like to try and give him a little more time by using some natural or holistic supplements.

dry patches

I have a 7month english bulldog and he has been getting dry patches and loseing hair from his head going down his back. Wondering if anybody had any suggestions

Thanks

Can 5 week old puppy take Doxycycline??

Puppy on my below post is not getting better on Amoxi drops(snot getting thicker and while she is eating and she is not lethargic; she is a little off). I have clavamox 62.5, doxycycline 50 mg, keflex, tetracycline, metronizadole and injectible penne ageneous(penne G). So have small arsenal, just not sure what a 5 week old puppy can take. My vet will want her in his office and won't advise dosage without seeing the pup. I don't see the point of taking her in-exposing other animals and then exposing her to other things to make matters worse.
