Mama Jo just had a tail amputation and I had read somewhere that you can use this powder on her incision to help with the pain and healing...Is this true? I had asked the vet, but he didn't seem to think that was a great idea, but wrote me the script anyway...it will be good to have on hand for other things if not...
PS..I posted pix of her bum surgery on the general page if interested
thanks

specifically the Pledgettes? I still have some spray and shampoo, but of course, not that I have having really good results with the pledgettes on Spanky's tail, they don't make it anymore. Just my luck!

Okay, so Meaty suffers from CHRONIC yeast infections of his ears....EVERY time, they culture the "gunk",
it's usually ALWAYS yeast, here we go
with drops again.....which are almost IMPOSSIBLE to get in his cute ears, and believe me, we've tried **EVERYTHING!!!** Meaty
is just SO strong, and when we are able to grab him really well to get the drops in, I'm so afraid we're gonna either choke
Hello our bullies are here . Roxy gave birth to 7 healthy pupppies today. we have 1 boy and 6 girls. they seem to be ok , it took them awhile today to get used to suclking on mom but the seem to be getting the hang of it. They range in weights from 6 ounces to 7 ounces. vet said that was normal size is this true? Also we have them in a basket with heating pad on low, how will I know if this is too hot for them or too cold?
The Dr, who is listed as a vet on here and very well known with BDs, told me Diesel needed his palate trimmed or he would have trouble making it through the summer and said the stenotic nares should be done at the same time. So Diesel does have a very raspy heavy beathing that comes from a lot of excitement or over-exhilerating himself and it had me concerned concluding to me seeing the specialist. So I had the surgery done almost 2 weeks ago and he is as bad as ever probably worse now than he ever was....
Has anyone had success wtih Metronidazole & Albon to clear up diarrhea? I emailed my breeder regarding Tuffy's ongoing Tummy troubles and she strongly believes this is all related to a parasite and advises me to put him on Metronidazole & Albon even if his fecal test turns out negative. She says it can't hurt him and could alleviate all his loose stool problems. My question is do you think a vet will be willing to prescribe these antibiotics if Tuffy's parasite test comes back negative?
so oscar is shedding so much. this has been going on for weeks now. first we figured it was because of winter. then we swicthed his food to Blue Buffalo puppy chicken & brown rice formula (opinions would be wonderful if this is good stuff ) I also bought a different brush!!
Does anyone have any suggestions???
Hi All,
I have a 1 year old bulldog named Beefy. We took him to the vet last week because we noticed he had some red sores under his chin that were bleeding. He layes on his chin alot. The vet said they were allergies and gave him some antibiotics. We've noticed that they're getting worse.
How do I post pictures to see if anyone else has had this problem? I tried to post them
