Mama Jo just had a tail amputation and I had read somewhere that you can use this powder on her incision to help with the pain and healing...Is this true? I had asked the vet, but he didn't seem to think that was a great idea, but wrote me the script anyway...it will be good to have on hand for other things if not...
PS..I posted pix of her bum surgery on the general page if interested
thanks

my vet calls it fairy dust
lve the stuff, for cuts, scrapes, etc. I guess the same thing for incisions.
Re: Neo-Predef powder...
That stuff is great. Used it on my boy when he had tail infection. It works right away. It also contains steroid to stop from itching.
this stuff is great but expensive
For me this stuff is like GOLD-I use it where I normally would use gold bond but when the gold bond doesn't work or isn't working quick enough. I use this on oozing interdigital cysts, tail pocket moisture, under nose rope-its awesome stuff.

To those who understand no explanation is needed. To those who don't no explanation is possible.
as long as its not....
ozzing anything...i love the stuff....use it on a rash now and then....put it around the booboo
and not right on the incision line...
use a little and wait to see if their is any reaction...
but can you put it on an incision??
