c section scheduled

I am wondering My vet has set a appt for fri 3/27 to do my bullys c section she will be 60 days. Is this too early. We had a ultrasound and puppies look good. Just curious, i was told 63 days. Is this just a average. She ovulated on jan 25th and was bred the 26th and the 28th. Just nervous. I have been taking her temp and it has been been between 99-101. I took last night and it was 98.8? She is not really showing any signs of nesting, but her appeitite has slowed quite a bit. Any suggestions.

Mucous in stool, now accident in house with diarrhea!

Winnie has been having mucous in her stool on and off the past week. The vet told me to watch it and if it doesnt resolve we need to bring in a stool sample.
We changed her food a couple weeks ago and I am thinking this may be the problem. Its Natural Balance Bison. She was on the venison.
Today my fiance came home to poop all over the house. firm stool on the carpet upstairs and diarrhea all over the downstairs. She had only been at home alone for 4 hours and obviously couldnt hold it. She did this once last week as well.

rabies vaccine, is there a 5 yr or is it only 3yrs and 7yrs

My dog as been having skin issues for the past 4 months and his skin is getting better. He is due for a rabies vaccine in July, but is it okay if he gets this in april for the 3yrs vaccine. I know there is a 7ys vaccine, but is there a 5yrs? or should I wait for the time he is due in July?

thanks.

Anyone give their Bully Pet Pectillin for Diarrhea?

My boy has been getting diarrhea on and off for a few weeks now. Not sure if it's from food or intestinal upset. Just bought this product at Petco. Any feedback on users of this product? Thanks.

salmon oil question

Hi! I've been very slowly transitioning Tuffy to a new kibble and his poop has been pretty firm these last couple of days. I've been very strict about limiting treats, bully sticks, giving smaller portions (1/2 cup mini meals as opposed to his normally full cup) etc. Today he didn't get his midday meal because he was out so I gave him a cup of kibble (instead of the half cup I've been giving him) and then added in 1/4 teaspoon of salmon oil.

Cleaning Tails...

I'm getting tired of that smell that the goldbond leaves behind.. Anyone else got a good suggestion? I was thinking of just trying the non scented aloe e baby powder again or something.. That will help keep it dry but not smell as nasty as it does when the goldbond is used.

Question about growing puppies weight...

My kids are 11 days old now, and they weigh from 1 lb 3 oz to 1 lb 8 oz. Is that a normal weight for pups this old? What time frame am I looking at before they start opening there eyes and standing up? When will they be able to go to the bathroom by themselves and when can I let Boston in with them without worrying about her laying on them? Finally, their little nails are getting mean, do you guys dare do anything with them?

Thanks again for all the help!

Arthritis pain relief

Hi all,
Opal turned 9 in December and she's having quite a bit of arthritis pain.

My vet said simply to give her 2 buffered aspirin 3 times a day. She can tolerate it but it's not helping much.

She can't take gluocosomine because it's fish based and she's allergic to fish.

I'm looking for more of an anti-inflamatory and/or pain killer.

What do you use?

Entropian

Not sure I spelled it right. Has anyone had any luck with this surgery? My daughter had it done to her girl at a year old and it really didn't help. Is there anything I should know about this surgery? Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Roanne
