Health issues and white bulldogs....

Would like anybody's experience on raising white bulldogs, especially conerning white bulldogs. Not albinos, white or mostly white bullies (90% white). Is it true they have lots of skin or health issues?
thanks.

i am going to show you what raw can do.....

i have adopted a second sb dog a little girls 13 wks old...i have named her cassie....
i am going to like cathy did for her raw diary....i am going to show you cassie and how she is doing on a weekly basis....
these are her first day pictures which was sunday april 30.... she has no muscle mass...very thin from the dirrhea....skin is terribly irritated....

final raw question.....(I hope)

Stan has been on natures variety now for about two months and about a full month with no kibble mixed. I find it is causing constipation big time. I am going to start preparing my own i found a butcher in our area that has ground bison for like $2 a pound if i buy 30 pounds. anyway i know the bone may be the culprit of the constipation so what i have been doing is using less natures variety and just adding my own meat.

6 day old puppies

Hello everyone my babies are 6 days old today. My question is how do I know that they are getting enough milk. They are nursing every 2 1/2 hrs for about 20 mins. They are all good eaters. They are content when they are done they dont whine and sleep well. I have been weighing them but my scale is not that good so i am not sure if I am getting the weights correct. They all look like they are getting fat and peole say they look bigger. They weigh from 6 to 8 ounces. Just want to make sure I am doing every thing right. thanks for any advice

Raw Video....posted to Youtube so should work now!

Here is Teela our 17 month old bulldog eating her chicken back (whole) bones and all. She wasn't impressed we were watching her! I wanted to show the process in chewing the bones, how she will sometimes TRY to swallow, gags it back up and chews again if the bones are too large. It's a LONG video so beware happy.gif

Hope this helps some new raw feeders feel more confident. I put down a towel because I can easily wash/bleach it.

Has anyone tried Sentinel?

I am trying to find a flea control for my bullies. She had a horrible reaction to promeris. Frontline and Advantix don't seem to be helping. We spray the carpet and back yard every 2 weeks....Help!!!

False pregnacy condition

Our female just finished her heat and we seperated our two dogs to avoid getting any surprises ..... But now she is acting funny !!!! Not sure what is going on UGH

Help im not sure what to do sad.gif

Update: possible water pups...

Well delivery day was today and we were blessed with 8 healthy pups.

So with the mom having the head shakes, and teets looking quite blistery/ water filled, no water pups.
This is only mine and vets opinion and I write this only for info on the experience.
What I take from this is 1. if the soon to be mom shows any of these signs first do labs.
2. listen to vet about findings and results
3. if all normal no need for supplements and hopeless thoughts.

Quick question about post pregnancy discharge...

Boston is having a lot of that reddish/brown discharge lately and I was wondering how long it lasted with many of your bulls pregnancies. My Vet said its normal until 7 weeks after, but it just got bad the last couple of days.

Thanks for any help!

Tuffy accidentally ate a Flinstone vitamin

Hello! My kids just told me around 7 p.m. that Tuffy accidentally ingested a flinstone complete vitamin that my daughter dropped on the floor morning. My clueless hubby didn't even bother to mention it to me. I read online that the artificial sweetner in it can be dangerous but Tuffy seems fine and I imagine by now if he were going to have an aftereffects it would have happened by now.

Should I just chalk this up to a lesson learned or is there any reason to be concerned?

Kim
