i have adopted a second sb dog a little girls 13 wks old...i have named her cassie....
i am going to like cathy did for her raw diary....i am going to show you cassie and how she is doing on a weekly basis....
these are her first day pictures which was sunday april 30.... she has no muscle mass...very thin from the dirrhea....skin is terribly irritated....
she is on boiled chicken and brown rice also 15% bone to help firm the bowels....i just added some raw beef heart.....she is also on slippery elm for her bowels...also cod liver oil and a probotic acidophilus....it has not been a week so you will only have her right now pictures....
didnt like the grooming table
I know, I thought the same...
it would be neat if one week we could all post our previous week's menu each day, just to see what everyone else is doing and what is working for them - I think that would give us some new & fresh ideas too! You do sometimes get in a rut...I forget all the options I have out there! LOL
that poor baby!
I can't wait to watch her progress!
I haven't updated my diary in a long time, but I have been posting on our experiences.
Cathy
when she first came home
Thank You ...
Hi Judy,
I just wanted to chime in that I also really appreciate you sharing your experience. All of the info is very helpful. I look forward to your posts!
Brandon
i will detail her diet as much as.....
possible...i think that might help....in my above post i said what she was on....and as this diet changes i will post the amounts....she is on 15% bone and i may increase that to get a better stool...
their are alot of people on raw....it would be great to get different diet ideas....you never stop learning with raw....
everyone does it different....
Great idea
I have only been feeding raw for about a month. Very easy to do but always nervous I won't get all the things she needs on it. I have googled and googed but still find myself guessing. She does love her raw diet and that makes me happy.

Judy that's a fabulous idea.....
I cannot wait to watch the transformation! My Dixie (who will be 11 in August) just went 100% raw tonight, she had been 75% kibble and 25% raw while she finished up her Wellness Core - but then got a nasty stomach virus and was on cooked chicken and brown rice all week, so tonight, after the chicken and rice was gone I decided to make the transformation (even though I still had kibble left)
I am looking forward to watching any changes in her as well...
gee, I think the BDW web people need to make us our own "RAW" group/discusion section, this is becoming VERY popular! LOL
