Small trachea.........Brachycephalic Syndrome prior post...

I'm just going to do a simple cut and paste of my follow up with Lola's owner.

"She has an extremely narrow trachea...small than a cats. We lucked up to have a vet from University of Tennessee in town who looked at it as well. Prognosis without surgery is not good and they really couldn't guarantee that surgery would help. I can't afford it so I am not sure what to do. She is so sweet and I love her to pieces...waiting on vet to call me back after she reviews the x-rays again with a specialist."

Question?

Penelope has pooped a lil bit of blood with her stool on and off these last couple of days....
She is eating fine and still her active self im not sure if she just ate something that she wasn't suppose to and its passing it ???

Not sure if anyone has dealt with this but if any one has any suggestions or comments i would appreciate it happy.gif

Radiation for Pituitary Macroadenoma

Has anyone has success with radiation treatment for a benign non-cushings pituitary tumor? My friend has a 7 year old Boston with this condition and needs some helpful advice from anyone that has this kind of experience. Thank you.

Rocky Start on Raw Diet ... Please Help ....

I started Hurley on the raw diet last night and it has really seemed to upset his stomach. I bought bone-in chicken breast and using a scale and meat grinder I ground up what was very close to 90% meat and 10% bone (my plan was to reduce the meat to 80% and add 10% organ after a month when his stomach has gotten use to the diet change).

A general food question...How long

should it take, on the average, for one to see a change in their bullie after having switched to a new kibble? By the time one has gone through a whole bag? half a bag? Or, is change dependently connected to each dog's metabolism? I am trying to get excessive tearing and reddish facial fold stains to go away, through feeding rather than topical applications. Any opinion, experiences with this and response will be appreciated!!

And always .....Winston

Tylan

I have Tylan 50 liquid. Can I use that for tear stains in the food and if so how much.
Thanks

Hey Elaine...did you get any response re your design ideas?

There were some great ideas regarding the new BDW logo...I'm curious to know if the designers responded to you.

Who in the tri-state had palate surgery from a specialist and happy?

One of my guys needs his palate shortened and snares opened a bit. Would like to know if anyone in the area had this done and where if your happy with the results. Thank you. Only specialist I went said $2300 and that doesn't seem right to me. My email is here if you prefer to help that way, thank you!!

Buttercup is home!

Buttercup came home today! She has to be on a strict I/d diet for 12 days...but she's here. Personality returned!! Thanks for all of the support. Please be careful if you are using ProMeris or any flea product for that matter. If your dog reacts (vomiting, lethargic, etc..) wash them immediately and get to the vet. I can't say enough about what an amazing job Dr. Butchko did! And all for less than one night stay at another vets office.

Thanks again,
Bulldog people are the best kind of people!!
