has anyone ever heard of this?

or something else like it? I got some stuff from this site and saw this mentioned in photos of their top dog performance dogs.
Sounds like it could be a good thing to have for bullies in the summer

Help...Pups threw up milk

Hey everyone this morning one of my babies threw up milk from his mouth and threw his nose while nursing. Did I do something wrong? Will he be okay? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

hoe to tell if my bully is retaining water

I have a 4 yr old bully that is due on the 31st and her front ankles look bigger than the other, How do I tell if she is retaining water. She is on bottled water and 2 cranberry tablets daily. Should i do some thing else. I have not been giving her any cottage cheese just hard boiled egg and moist puppy chow mixed with her dry. Any suggestions.

Has anyone tried Natural Balance Lamb and Rice Limited Ingredient formula?

Good evening! I'm wondering if anyone has tried or had any success with the Natural Balance L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets Lamb Meal & Brown Rice Formula. I'm still researching dog foods to try for Tuffy (he's currently back on Canidae Chicken and Rice als but I'm not seeing any improvement in the soft poop. It's firm in a.m. then goes south...). It's only been two days so I'm going to keep him on it for at least a few weeks before trying something else to give it a chance.

more raw questions long

Ok so i transitioned stan over to raw about six weeks ago and was feeding him natures variety. He was doing great on his natural balance kibble but he was such a picky eater it was was tough to keep weight on him for shows. He loved the raw but within a few weeks he started getting idcs in his toes and his skin seemed a little pink and he was itchy. I was feeding him the venison which was the same as his nb. In the meantime he was allergy tested and is not allergic to any protein source but is allergic to carrots which the natures variety has.

LONELY..Gus is off to the vet for the Day..last time..

the deaf study will be over once Gus goes to the vet for the day today.
they will have all their info that they need to compile the study for the university of guelph.
what a study they will have though.

Gus is getting a physical first thing
then some other testing this morning
today they are testing him for his sign language and out for a walk or two

then off to the vets farm for lunch
go and see the farm animals

Momma questions...

Hello Everyone!

The babies seem to be doing great, getting little round bellys! I am concerned about Boston though, for the last couple days she has been panting a lot and even breathing quickly when sleeping. She also has pretty knarly diarrhea. I have been feeding her puppy food and cottage cheese, is that possibly why?

Emergency Situations..when you need to call a vet...

JUST a general thread when a VET is required...emergency situations...
by Pat
I emailed ElaIne to see if she could start one of these threads but thought that I would just go ahead and start one this am.
she will reply with all her great info I gurantee that..

I think an emergency call to the vet office is such was the case with Bruce. no eating for two days and no bowel movements....I would take the bulldog or any dog for that matter right back in the vet
