I know it's only been a few days, but we switched her to the beef formula this am. It's definitely a different color, same basic texture and consistancy, and she LOVED it just as much as the lamb. It is $5 less per bag than the lamb also. I added a double dose of digestive aid/probiotics so she would hopefully not have tummy issues with an abrupt change. So far no problems. We took Audrey with us to the store, and the store owner remarked on how beautiful and soft her coat is.
I just received this in an e-mail and thought it should be passed along. I copied and pasted this. I hope it doesn't break any forum rules.

Hi everyone,
We have the option right now of adopting a puppy with a level 3/4 heart murmur.
We have done some reading but wanted to get your thoughts on this, what are the ramifications?
What should we know?
Thanks!

Maddie wakes up really stiff (8 years old), and because she's in a bit of pain, sometimes she doesn't want to eat right away. We wait about 30-60 mins before we feed her, and then she sometimes only picks at it. She eats REALLY well in the evening, however. So, I think it's arthritis stiffness and pain that's keeping her from eating in the AM.
Are bully noses like other regular dog noses? I was just wondering this because i know that most dogs are supposed to have wet cold noses, whereas kibbys has always just been kinda dry to the touch, not runny or anything like that...are bullys different?
I was also wonder why do bullys have webbed toes if they can't or weren't bred to swim?

For the past few weeks I have been giving Spanky a half slice of bread at bedtime to try to prevent him from throwing up phlegm in the morning on his empty stomach. I had been giving him Pepcid AC as the vet suggested, but that was not doing the job. Now I give him Pepcid, bread and a handful of kibble at bedtime. The additional bread has helped his stomach..... no more phlegm!
Our little girl Lola was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hip Dysplasia yesterday. The vet, (who is familiar with bullies -recommended by our breeder), said that it was 'shocking' to see hips this bad in a 1 year old bulldog. Her right socket is malformed to the point that the ball is just 'hanging' there. She has been pretty stoic, but is showing signs of pain and tenderness. She prefers to drag her hind end rather than stand and walk and has never been keen on stairs (she really tends to avoid them).
has anyone used it? I went to get Audrey more food today and the store owner gave her some freeze dried food as a treat. Audrey went CRAZY over them! I bought some to use as training treats. Store owner said it's a complete food. It sounds like a great idea if I ever have to leave Audrey overnight and her frozen raw would be a pain to take with us.
