About Betty Boop:

About 6 years ago my husband had been looking for a dog to adopt. About a year had passed and he had not found a fit. One day his buddy told him a friend of a friend had to rehome their bulldog because their new baby was allergic. He said sure, I will go meet her and see if it is a fit. He went to their house only to meet the dog. There was a misunderstanding and the older man was balling his eyes out as he handed Betty Boop over. My husband didn't have a chance to say no as the man turned over her belongings. This turned out to be the best thing for Betty and our family. Since arriving at her new home she has turned out to be the sweetest snaggle-toothed companion anyone could ask for. It's no wonder the family was so sad when giving her up. Betty Boop loves walks with her family, chewing on toys, hanging with her bulldog brother, and food. About a year ago Betty went completely blind in both eyes. With the help of some great veterinarians and modern medicine Betty was able to fully recover her eyesight! She is such a resilient dog and a great companion! Betty is going to be 10 years old this year and we look forward to celebrating her birthday.
