My love, CARMINE (aka THE CARMINATOR) is over the moon to be selected as Bulldogs World’s December bully of the month! Carmine just celebrated his 15th birthday on November 7th and is still hippity hopping along with an appetite any bully Mom would be proud of!

Carmine was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas.  I was living in Las Vegas at the time, so I flew into Dallas airport to pick him up and by golly, my heart just melted as our eyes met for the very first time.  He was absolutely PERFECT! We boarded the plane back to Las Vegas and I was holding him on my chest. The flight attendants were not very pleased with this and kept telling me to put him back in his carry bag.  I would quickly pretend to put him in, and then when the coast was clear, take him out and have him again lie on my chest, this time hidden under a blanket! Carmine was an ANGEL! Not a peep out of his little 11-week-old FRENCHIE in the two hours it took to get back to his new home.

Carmine always LOVED TO TRAVEL! Our home now for the past 14 years has been West Hollywood, California. Among the many cities he has visited are: New York, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Palm Springs, Santa Barbara, Cambria, and Ojai. He would just get so excited when I would take his travel bag out of the closet. He would rush in and just tumble around in it. As long as he knew he was going to be with his Mommy, Carmine was a happy camper. He even once did a 1000-mile road trip to Salmon, Idaho!  My boy is a TROOPER for sure!

Now that Carmine is well advanced in age, he still gets to go on long walks with me in his pet stroller and is quite content getting all the attention from the neighborhood folk.  He is affectionately known in these parts as “THE MAYOR OF WEST HOLLYWOOD”.
