What's Cleaner, A Human's mouth or a dog's???? *pics*

So my daughter is doing her science fair experiment on Which mouth is cleaner. The results are in, What do you think?? Basically, who are you going to kiss on the lips now, the kids or the fur kids??
Here are some pics
Carmela, willing particpant 1 of the dog variety 
and not so willing 
Rocco, willing participant 2, of the dog variety 
Michael, participant of the human variety 
Gabriel, willing particpant of the human variety 
The results, there were 3 dogs that took place in the study and 4 humans. Here are a few apgar jars w/ bacteria. The bacteria grew for a few weeks. Colonies were counted and differnt bacteria strains were identified.

...my vote from a nurses' standpoint would definitely be with the dog having a cleaner mouth. And even if they didn't, I would still kiss my dog on the mouth and vice versa.
Regarding dogs eating the tootsie rolls from the cat box: we cut a hole in the dry wall between two studs and made a "kitty door" for the cat to get in and out of a room we always keep the door shut to. The hole is big enough for kitty to get through, but not for big headed bulldogs seeking snacks.
Of course, now we don't have a cat (fiance doesn't want one), but I'm certain Bernie wants one for his birthday......

I work in mental health, we are extremely cautious when it comes to getting bit by our patients. Happened to a friend of mine, he ended up hospitalized with IV antibiotics.

Okay, HERE are the Official Results in a simplified way

Overwhelmingly Dogs had far fewer bacteria than humans.
There was only one strain of Bacteria that dogs had more of and it was very close in numbers with the Humans.
A Dog's mouth is much cleaner than a couple of 8 year olds boys and my mouth included!!
My daughter says "Go Ahead and Kiss your dog's lips freely"!!!
and some people eat boogers too

Don't know how accurate it is, but I have always heard that a human mouth is filthy in terms of bacteria, etc. Karen should know, tho. And she doesn't mind kissing Ozzy on the mouth. Hmmm, I wonder if Ozzy licks his balls, tho.
