AT what age do new born puppies get Vocal???

I am talking really newborns.
I seen on Sue thread the babies are very very vocal at 4 weeks old.
to me that seemed so young.
just curious since I never had puppies and will not ever have puppies...lol
at what age they get vocal..
I was just amazed at how much noise they make...at that age

I bet the house gets loud with a big litter though...lol

it would be soo much fun to watch them grow..
and play
I can just hear how loud it must be with a big litter
love puppies
they grow to fast though.

WE can all relate...to when the puppies came home at 8 weeks or

I remember when Bella got here..the time i spent watching her and looking at her and playing with her was unreal. she was soo goosh darn cute and funny and playful.
Gus the same way..he came here at 10 weeks or so..full of life and bubbly and very extroverted and happy so lucky.
LOVE that age
they grow way to fast

thanks for posting about the puppies..

Those of us who breed are usually thrilled

when babies come out crying and squealing.. as eyes open the playing and barkin starts.. and ditto on Cathy's post.. my house is a wreck too!!!

...that's why my house is a wreck.

Doggie time is much more important than cleaning time. I figure I won't look back in may old age and regret that my house wasn't a showplace today. happy.gif

I really had no idea about this..
never got a chance to see really small puppies
until i was on this board
and saw some videos of them..
no idea they would be barking soo young
and crying..I never would have thought that the first day

wow...really that fast..that is soo cool...

Not sure, but I think on the first day

I bred my first Lhasa twice, and one of the puppies got sick. As far as I recall, the puppy started crying out right away. Now, it's not a bark, but definitely a vocalization.
