Update on Tyson...
Submitted by a5hley on April 21, 2010 - 12:40amHe is recovering from his surgery. They also repeated his CBC and it was a miracle, the leukocyes were COMPLETELY normal. The vet was shocked. (the first test was a send out and this one was done in office. So now we just wait on the biopsy report to come back. (fingers crossed) Thanks for the thoughts & prayers,

Re: well that is good news..
The biopsy will be 5-7 days and we went back to the vet's original prediction... 75% chance benign, 25% chance malignant. We are just praying now. The vet went ahead and took the surrounding tissues to make sure he got it all. If it turns out malignant, we'll do more test.

when do you get the result from the biopsy??
so they do not think it is cancerous anymore then??

and confirmation that a harsh diagnosis based on only one test is risky...these should be repeated (ie, that coveted Second Opinion).
