update on the boards Cody....
Submitted by Anonymous on April 20, 2010 - 5:41pmas you all know Cody had been slowing down these last several weeks..and my heart was preparing for what may be coming ....
....However I am thrilled and bliss filled to say that Cody is on a acting goofy high since I have returned...
...as some of you know ..Cody has never growled at any of the yelps in our home....well the night I Adminved ..I went straight to the couch so I wouldn't get stampeded ..and hubbie let the yelps in....well it was of course a love ,hugging,leaping ,pouncing, globber fest for all..but Cody ..managed to wiggle his big old bum over... through all the other yelpsters and completely took over my lap..he then buried his big cement head into me..and gurgled and snuggled so hard ...he put his chin on my chin and just gazed into my eyes...
when the other pupsters tried to snuggle in to..he without turning his head or moving it..but with one glance of his beautiful eyes..he would look at them briefly and do this little growl..not aggressive,,just a "mums mine right now..come back later growl" this was a first...then after about 2-3 minutes he welcomed them in the pile of heads, wiggling bums..and kissing tongues..and we all continued are greetings....smile
...when hubbie brought in groceries yesterday...Cody actually growled happy sounds .and gave a few barks wanting the pop cartons...and paper bags.
..and he keeps head butt-ing everyone to get down and play face wrestling games with him...
yesterday he played in the yard like I have never seen him play...(I'll post some pictures in a wee bit)
...so of course because we all share Codys ups and downs...I really wanted ya'all to know he is one happy happy joy joy fellow right now..and just full of mischief....

I read your post...and just kept thinking "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I almost don't know what to say, I'm so filled with joy and relieved that Cody is doing so well.
I'd also like to say thanks to you, ce...for all your efforts and the time you take to keep everyone informed on his well-being. Cody stories are always my favorite thing...

Sounds like he feels like a kid again. See, you gave him new life and made him so happy to see you home again. I'm so happy.
