Tongue question

I have a silly tongue question. Is it normal for the tip of a bully's tongue to stick out when he's in a relaxed state. I've noticed that this happens a lot with Tuffy lately. He's not panting or anything...it's just almost like his tongue is getting to big for his mouth or something. We all think it looks cute but I want to make sure it's not a sign of dehydration. See below for an example....

Thanks!

Depends on the dog

Nipper, one of the bullies I had when I was growing up would sleep with his tongue out so far, it would spill over his lips and down to the floor. When he woke up, he'd walk around with his tongue out until he got his drink of water.

My current bullie has no tippy at all when she is relaxed or sleeping. ('Tippy' is the BDW term for tongue sticking out.)

Woof!

I can't believe there's an actual name for this. Tippy is beyond cute!! Thanks for the response.

search "tippy" on this board and check it out.
It's pretty comical.
