THUNDERSTROMS...and bulldogs..

MY PUGS are whimps when it comes to the thunderstorm...they hang very very close.
but today we had a short thunderstorm here and Bella started to shake too..
she has no done this up to now...
and they are calling for thunderstorms most of the week here
how are your bulldogs with the thunder?

Gus says NOOOOOOOOOOO problem..can not hear it...lol
so he does not get all the fuss.

I could tell it was going to thunder today though just by how active these dogs were with a storm coming in. they are better then the weather man for letting me know. actually even Gus was too. so his senses work great.

Mine are all different

Wiggles could care less, Chelsea sleeps through them and Tinker, being Tinker the terminator, has her hair standing on end running around barking ready to kick some butt.

Spanky....

starts woofing about a second before the lightening, and continues barking throughout the thunder.

Tater thinks its the door bell.

no one here worries, but Tate runs around barking as if someone were ringing the door bell. I wonder how I could get her to relax. lol!!!

No problem with my girls.

They ignore the storms. My Shep used to hate them though and hid under the bed or in the farthest reaches of my closet. Dodger used to bark back each time it thundered:-) He was a goofy boy:-)

I myself am a manly man . . . I go hide in the pantry with the J

more seriously, I do admit to a reluctance to taking a shower when there is thunder and ligthning goes on outside.

NOT much you can really do about it...either..unfortunately

thunderstorms are a fact of life
especially around here
maybe move Bella to the dessert..lol.
only kidding
I guess she will just have to find a hiding place like Boo
but the pugs they were right up on my lap..and stayed them till it was done..all 3 of them..lol

My first bulldog would go hide in my bedroom closet

Boo goes hide under my desk. Clovis and Flynn sleep right thru them.

I have one that is petrified

one that is kinda nervous, then Audery who doesn't care at all. The petrified one has been that way for 13 years, we just ignore it as best we can, try to turn some music on, maybe a fan, but nothing helps much.

None of my dogs have a problem with storms

Storms don't bother me at all and I think my dogs take a clue from me. I'm not worried so they don't worry about it either.
