two and a half months ago... She posted photos of her bullies before she started them on the diet and then after photos. Being able to see those photos (before and after) helped me realize that our Angus Rose was a bit overweight. Our vet told us this last year and put her on a diet with their dog food. (I think it was Science Diet?)
Anyway, long short story, while I was lurking on in this forum back in January 2010, I ran across the post I mentioned above and decided to give it a try. I knew Angus would have a vet appointment sometime this year... I switched between green beans and carrots.
Today, we took her to the vet for her annual checkup, and she lost four pounds!! I was really happy about that, and the vet was happy, too. She said that it's healthier for Angus to be a bit underweight than overweight. She's now 58 pounds and has about 8 more pounds to go.
Thank you once again for those photos and thanks for letting me ramble this long!
Barbara and a leaner Angus Rose
that was Deb and the gang..
she posted some remarkable pics
the diet works..
I use it on my chubby pugs and they are loosing slowly
my bulldogs do not need a diet..they are fine
That diet is a wonderful one:-)
It always brings very visible results, and isn't unhealthy at all for the dogs! I had my Dobe girl on it a few years ago....she dropped about 15 pounds!
