Teaser Balls and JOLLY balls.....do your dogs LOVE them too?
Submitted by Anonymous on April 21, 2010 - 12:40amI think that I have the most teaser balls and jolly balls.lol. I have 3 larger teaser balls and one smaller teaser ball. about 5 jolly balls...of all sizes and types..
great toys for bulldogs and pugs too..hahahaha they love them as well.
great weather for teaser ball fun too..just about the right temps for some good playing outside. I try to get the 5 dogs out 3 times a day for about 3/4 of hour at a time. that is usually enough.
both bulldogs have really lost weight playing hard with these balls. Bella is down 6 pounds and Gus is down 5 pounds.
when I bought the first teaser ball...seen it on the board here..I was curious as to how the dog could get their mouth open to grab it through 2 holes..did not think of hooking it in the jaw with one hole..lol until I tried it on Bella. and here I thought i was smarter then a bulldog..lol
do you use jolly balls and teaser balls?

Fiona and her teaser ball-she just likes to carry it around to much work chasing it I guess!!
her 2nd favorite toy-her dish. she swats this thing around the floor like a hockey puck!!

My crew isn't too interested in them at all. They are chewers an
like to carry sticks when outside. You'd think they have retriever in their genes!

Audrey doesn't care for hers
she LOVES regular balls so much, the teaser ball doesn't have much appeal to her. She likes to chase them and only plays with balls that roll well. The big solid ball I got for her didn't work out either, she has to be able to pick it up too.

Bernie is without a doubt the cutest name for a bulldog..

It's by far his favorite (aside from the laser toy). Funny thing is he never "woobied" anything until he was about 1.5 years old - six months or so after we got it for him. Now he sucks on it about 3x a week before falling asleep : )

petsmart sells the smaller version like Cleo has for sure
I have one that size...
you can get it at petsmart if you have one close to you
the only place that I seen one that small..

My husband throws the Jolly balls out as soon as I buy them. I bought one a few weeks ago and of course the first thing they do is get a chunks off the handle and in the garbage they go. I won't be buying any more Jolly balls. I've been searching for this exact same ball and ordered one but it was the wrong size
(too big).

JEN..they are not destructive at all..
there is a ball in a ball..
supposed to finding out how to get the ball out of the ball.. that is the idea of the ball..since you have agility bulldogs..they might just love that challenge.
on the other side they are great for hooking in the jaw and running after them..
they are awesome
and not destructive at all..
I still have the first teaser ball that i bought ..
Teaser balls look like fun....
and a lot less destructive than the jolly balls...Dixie can tear up one of those in minutes! LOL

NEVER LOST a handle yet here on a jolly ball....
Gus uses the handle on it..
Bella perfers the middle of the ball..instead..lol so she never uses a handle.
the inside of the ball here has tons of chew marks..
Bella loves the jolly balls..as well
I have an 8 inch here and would love to find a larger one for Be
the first thing I do at a new petshop is go and look..lol at them and see if there is a bigger one.
Bella is teaser ball obsessed.

once I started to throw the teaser ball instead of Bella just banging it around..she loved it even more. they roll good and with a good toss..they go far..
surprised that Audrey does not like but some dogs maybe don't.
the big jolly ball here with the hendle..Bella never uses the handle on it..she loves to grab in the center of the ball
she loves soccer balls and basketball too..
but since the teaser and the jolly balls she is not using the other at all anymore

I have a holly roller here and it seldom gets any use.

I bought the large jolly balls with handles from a co-op store h
20.00 Canadian for the largest ones I got
the 12 inch ones..
the dogs love them.
i still have all the handles and have about 4 of them ouside here
they prefer to try to carry the ball..in the middle..lol.
they do not wear near as well as the teaser ball..
greatest toys for a bulldog that I can find
are the jolly balls and teaser balls
I found the huge jolly balls for horses @

They like the one with the handles..but of course..
its half chewed up from my chewer Dupree..Marley loved carrying it around..The ball one, she carries around too, just doesnt love it as much as the handle..we got ours from Petco online, alot cheaper then the stores...even with shipping!

mine..I got a petshop but sure they are online too..
they are made by jolly ball. in fact are a type of jolly ball.
they are tough and really are great for the dogs to use
MINE totally love them
try to find a red one if you can..
seem to love the colour here the BEST in red
the jolly balls someone said a tack shop has the ones with the handles
but perfer the teaser ball with the holes instead here for my guys
