On Thurs morning, I had a email about a bulldog found by a cop in the town over from me. I live almost to the Michigan line. They wanted to put him in rescue verses the shelter. I went to pick him up after work Thurs. He was a little dirty, but happy as a clam. We made a quick trip to the vet who had a scanner. The tech did a scan & low & behold he had a chip happy. She went to call the ph# & the tech identified herself, the first words out of his mouth were " please tell me you have my boy" We were stunned and you can imagine the tears of happiness & disbelief. She had his owner on the phone & he wanted to talk to me. I was sobbing I could barely talk to him. He couldn't believe it & was so happy. He was so glad he was ok & not harmed. "Chopper" was stolen from his home in Muncie Ind. Aug. 2008. He was found March 2010, 200 miles north of Muncie . They came today to pick him. Chopper seemed to recognize them. His big butt was a wiggling & he was ready to go!!!
Dont you just love a happy ending!!

This has to be one of the happiest stories I've heard in a long
I can only imagine how touching this was for you, omg! Wonderful things do happen and it is so nice to hear this. I'm so happy for that family, the bullie and for you.
Brings tears to my eyes.
Wonderful story! Just think if he wasn't chipped. Both
my bullies have been chipped since puppies. Thanks for letting us hear a happy ending.
I am so glad to hear that! That is why
I always microchip all my babies. Even though not all places have the capability to read them, in the case that one does, it will make all the difference to that one owner!
And always .....Winston
What a fantastic story of being reunited with a lost bully!
Wonderful! Good catch there Deb!
