We were over in Cambria CA this last weekend and went to the sea lion beach. I guess I was missing Winnie cause I thought they look like a sleeping bulldog!

I've heard that there's quite a few sharks down south, out by Catalina and out by the Faralon Islands up north off the coast of San Francisco bay. I haven't heard if there are any in the Cambria area. Cambria is in the central coast. Lot's of wildlife out here, sea otters, dolphins, whales and all kinds of sea lions. It's pretty cool!

I would love to see that, we have some seals up here but dont see them that often, we usually take a boat ride out to see them. do the great whites bother them? silly question, just have a thing about sharks.

It was a warm day, they were on a beach a few miles N. of Cambria Ca. There were lot's of them as far as you could see. Look close you can see them on the beach. They're behind wire fence but you could get pretty close.
Thanks! My son made that for me. nm

We were in Cambria in 2008 and had that same reaction -- are those seals or bullies???
