Hooch has always been a VERY quiet boy for the 2 1/2 years we've had him. He only barks in "alarm"...doorbell, strange noises outside, etc. NEVER barks to demand anything. If he has to go out he just sits by the door until someone notices. Winnie on the other hand, our spoiled little diva, would bark incessantly to get what she wanted (our fault of course, we gave in) and make that unique Bully sound...the kind of growl/woof sound...well Hooch started doing that last night! No idea why though. I don't know what he wanted. He just sat in the living room doing it.
Winnie's nickname was Beaner was Jorge looked at me and said "he's been Beanerized" lol!
LOL Now this cracks me up on two levels...
first, as you know we call Bodie, Bean or Mr. Bean or Boder Bean and he is very vocal about barking but mostly "chorteling" to get what he wants. LOL
second, Malcolm came and visited Sadie the other night. I actually had to tell him to leave her alone. Yes, I actually said "Malcolm, that's enough" and it stopped. She kept jerking her feet like something was tickling her and then she would get up, bark at the air and hurumph as she laid back down. This went on for about 3 minutes but stopped as soon as I said it. Now you tell me...am I crazy? LOL Okay folks that was a rhetorical question.

Heavenly music
Winnie's probably up at the bridge saying "Hooch, my man, you'll never get what you want if you don't speak up!!"
As if he doesn't get everything he wants...
sounds
good to me! she just had to stop in and say 'hi'.......
