Spanky is also shedding. I just finished vacuuming the livingroom area rug. It is only about 10' by 13' and I emptied the canister 2 times. Mopping the tile, I'm putting off until tomorrow.
I have to shut Spanky in the bedroom so he won't attack the vacuum, and he just barks and barks. He sees it often, but always has the same aggressive response. Do you think the vacuum cleaner noise really hurts their ears, or are they just guarding us from the "big black monster?"
