Are we going? Are we going? Huh? Huh?
Cause I'm READY!
YAY! My boyfriends Fritz and Schroder!
What? I sat!
Fine. Cheeeeeze!
Paying attention because "cookies" are being discussed.
I'm SMRT!
And lastly... we put them all in a stay, and my instructor took her for me so I could snap one group pic. (There used to a lot more people/dogs in this class but they dwindled... LOL!) Now look closely and you will see the LONE, ill-behaved, non-sitting bulldog in the back. Not even behaving for the instructor!
Yes ladies and gentlemen... the Class Clown superlative fits. She even pooped in class ONE LAST TIME for good measure! Hooray!!!!

Yay Gretl!!!!
Congratulations!

That's great!
Makes me have faith that maybe Boris will graduate from his class tomorrow night...fingers crossed. He is not what you'd call the class clown. Boris is the overly smart dog that has selective hearing and no patience for being on a leash. But performs his tricks perfectly for a piece of 87 cent hot dog.
Way to go Gretl!
Boris
Oh yeah...it took them three years to be ready for obedience cla
see...Gretl is just too smart for them. Why would she want to hang out with a bunch of old farts? It's like putting a teenager with a 30 years old...that is REALLY old for them, and b-o-r-i-n-g....unless food is involved.
You got yourself a beautiful girl who has a lot of personality. Our Lily was a lot of fun in obedience...mostly because her favorite command was "down". She could do it forever. She did not care much for silly performance stuff, it was kind of beneath her. She took such a sweet time to get from one end to the other in the training exercises that the trainer was rolling on the ground laughing...she was most laid back, slow and unmotivated of the bunch. But she enjoyed her classes
Good luck and give her a big hug from us.
And thanks for nice words, we are trying to hang on, as hard as it is now...
Bernata, you have other things on your mind!
And I'm sure you haven't forgotten how to use your camera... I went through a pretty dark few months a couple years back, right after I got my 40D. I lost all interest in it... and I too was afraid I wouldn't know what to do. It's like riding a bike! It comes right back.
I think of you all the time... lots of healing, positive thoughts for Chester and for Lily. And for YOU. I hope you're taking care of YOU, too.
And I love your first quote. "If you enroll a smart bully in underachiever class, you are bound to create a rebel." Hee hee! It was 3-year old labs, beagles, froo-froos, and Portugese water dogs. They were all the most docile well behaved creatures the very first day! The cards were stacked against Gretl from the beginning. LOL!

She offers drop-in obedience classes every Monday... $6/hour!
I think I'll do a bunch of those for a while, get some practice in, see if I can calm her down a little to actually LEARN when we're there, and then sign up for Obedience #2. I was debating doing a Rally class that she was going to start on Thursday, but she didn't get enough interest for this one...
For $6 for an hour's class, whenever you feel like it, no commitment? I think that's the perfect solution for a while. And I need to get better on homework. We didn't work "stay" as well as we should have this week, and it showed! LOL...

When does the next class start?
I'm sure your excited to sign up
She's adorabull and getting so big. I just love her.
Congratulations!!!! Julia...by the way..
look who she is surrounded by...froo-froos and beagle...sorry, but she just was not challenged enough so quit complaining...if you enroll a smart bully in underachiever class, you are bound to create a rebel.
By the way..ocngrats on your new camera...I am drooling, but given that I am putting my vets kids through Harvard right now, no way FF is in my near future. Plus i do not even have time to play with my 40D. I forgot how to use it
Way to go Gretl! You showed them didn't you?!!(nm)

That's the owners dog... the official "Distraction." LOL!
She's 11 and the best behaved dog on the planet. She wasn't a student. So YES, Gretl WAS the worst. Hahaha!

Re: Sigh... my Class Clown (barely) graduated Obedience School t
This is hilarious and adorable! How funny about her paying attention to the "cookie" talk. Beautiful dog - such a different coloring than I'm used to seeing. Its very pretty, and she has an adorable smile!
