I have been showing pretty regularly for almost 5 years now. I fell into showing really. I had my first litter almost 9 years ago, then joined the local club (2 hrs away) and attended my first show with two of my pups from that litter. I didn't have a clue as to what I was doing. But I really wasn't able to show as I was a RN with a weekend only job. So I eventually became more involved in the club aspect and found myself another job. That is when I really started showing regularly.
I have finished 3 of my own dogs, with another very close, and another half there. And also helped finish a couple others that weren't mine.
I enjoy it, it is alot of work. But what I really like is training the babies and getting them ready to show for the ring.
I am pretty active in two local bulldog clubs, and also do an agility class with my girl Calamity Jane.
