really cute. Bulldogs do love their food. Junior has become quite creative in sneaking the other dog's leftovers. He gobbles his food down and tries to check out Belle and Bentley's bowls before I can pick them up.
Teddy eats in the office, so Junior figured out if he hid under my daughter's bed, he could sneak out and eat Teddy's food before Ted has time to get off the bed and go eat! Well, that worked one time before we caught on. Next time I went to put Ted's food down I found Junior in the office sitting in a chair trying to look very invisible. He's so sneaky!
The other day my husband fed the dogs before I got home. When I walked in the door, Junior ran to the pantry and looked down at the spot where I normally put his bowl and then up at me. He thought maybe he could get away with making me think he hadn't been fed. LOL
I put it away about a year ago when I was so wrapped up in the remodel. I just recently got my hooking stuff out again. I'm hooking and hubby is packing. LOL
It is fun and very easy to learn how to do. Best way to start is to go to a rug hooking camp in your area or join a guild. Both are throughout the US and Canada. I'm self taught. I just researched online and ordered the materials and a kit for my first rug project. Here is one I did of Roxy a couple of years ago--
I did finish it with pink in the background. I don't have a pic though.

I do think that the rug is beautifulo- did you design it yourself. I would love to lean how to do that. Yes Roxy you are much better looking than that rug!
LOL no need for her to talk..
her expression says it all. "Put this stupid rug away and pay attention to me, Mom!"
I don't rescue animals because I want to feel better about myself, or morally superior to anyone. The best part of my life with animals is the humility they teach and the humanity the foster.

Thank you. No, I drew the pattern...
I didn't have a photo. I do have a picture of ocean waves to look at for color placement of the wool loops.
I had a photo of Roxy to copy and her pattern outline was drawn by my rug camp teacher, Elizabeth Black. You can google her to see some of her work.
