I have heard of dogs having tear stains from using plastic bowls.
Cain has tear stains that are finally going away. They started when fall started and now that we have the windows open, his tears stains are going away which tells me it is something in the house. Maybe our rug cleaner.....

We only give Dread filtered water and he is tear stain free. We use to use a Brita pitcher, but that was a huge pain so now we have one of those filter thingees that attached to the kitchen faucet. When we visit my parents or he spends an extended amount of time at the doggie spa, we definitely notice an increase in his tear stains. Try switching...it works for us!

try filtered water if the food changes aren't working. =) If that doesn't work you could try Angel Eyes...I've never tried it but seems to work for others from what I've read.

Not sure...
Hank has horrible ones and we tried every thing, but PollyAnna gets them about twice a year.
