once I found out he was deaf..I started to kiss him to wake him.
he is fine with that...actually
better then shaking him and really startling him..
what is a nicer way to wake up than a kiss by someone that loves you

done too...but the groomer never has a problem with him...I have to lay on top of him to do his nails, he is a big baby...lol griff and gracie I always give smooches to especially when they are sleeping they love it...Sugar I smooch her when she is awake otherwise she will snap your nose off if you scare her while sleeping...

Exactly like those two pictures you just posted, gave me goose bumps, my Chuckie is my shadow too, it is so eerie looking at these pictures, wow!! it is amazing! I can tell how much you love him( all of your babies) if I ever get this mac thing figured out I will post my pics of chuckie looking exactly the same
