I am frustrated that I can use these new teeth yet. pretty swollen still...and really sore. I stopped taking the pain meds..were really bothering my breathing. just taking advil for now although they are not strong enough..they take off the edge. called the dentist..he feels the teeth will sit better on the gums once the stitches dissolve and that is not until about 10 days post op. so in the meantime..lots and lots of mush the jaw is really sore so been pretty quiet around here...not talking much spending time reading the board and posting and time with the bulldogs
I am dying for an appple. used to eating raw fruits and vegetables..will not doing that for 6 months or more now. always want what you can not have..lol
this is not something that I wish on anyone. the jaw with the new teeth look awesome. I can at least try the teeth in and see what they will look like. the denturist might be able to help me fit them better on Monday..will see thanks for asking

all the fresh vegetables and fruit. I have lost over 70 pounds over the last 4 years.. needed to loose it...but lost mainly to stress and recovery from major surgery I am at my ideal weight so do not need to loose anymore.. eat much more healthy too..
now that the fresh fruits and veggies are out of the question..miss them big time. I have lost a couple of pounds this past week already. do not need to do that. even bread is out of the question for now..with no bottom teeth..

the denturist is going to be my best friend I think. hopefully he can trim them so they do not rub that much ..if not will have to wait some till the gums heal. after the teeth finally get back in.. then it is learning to use them.. they sit with no suction have a feeling that I might need to look at implants at sometime

Now's the time to treat yourself to some comfort foods, like mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and (my personal favorite) chocolate milk shakes! Hope you have a good visit with the specialist tomorrow!
thanks for asking....
