anywhere besides southern California. Today and yesterday have been perfect! I have lived here for a year and yesterday was the first day I walked to the beach. It was a lot closer than I thought, and it was great to walk along the edge of the ocean, the cold waves felt great on my sore ankle.
I have been a bit down because I don't have enough work, but days like this help me see the bright side of having some time to myself. I should learn to be more appreciative of what I have.

It's 59M-: and the lakes are ice free and sparkling.
I live within walking distance of five lakes. It's wonderful to see people in their little one-person sailboats, skimming across the water like water bugs. bulldogs like this weather, too.
Sounds wonderful where you are.
Woof!
El Segundo. I think it's considered South Bay
I'm south of L.A.

I can't imagine not seeing an ocean
I feel claustrophobic if I'm not near a large body of water. The Mississippi River doesn't count (I lived in St. Louis for a short, hellish time).

It is supposed to get much cooler over the next couple days
By Wednesday it is supposed to be in the 60s and raining. Being from Chicago, I am ashamed to say that 60s is cold for me.

We're enjoying a beautiful Spring day in St. Louis,
But I love, love, love SoCal! Where are you located?
Sounds Lovely...
Just when I think I'd like to move as far from Missouri as possible, we have a beautiful Spring day which makes me think I'll just stay. Today is perfect here too minus the beach & the ocean.
Enjoy!
That should read "wouldn't mind"
Sorry
Agree....
enjoy that beautiful weather because we have pouring rain here! I do believe the ocean has a very calming affect and I appreciate looking at it everyday, heck there are people who have never seen an ocean at all.

Would mind a touch of the SoCal myself right now
It's going to rain for the next three days here. The kind of cold that goes down to your bones, even if it's not that cold.
But, we are supposed to have a rockin' weekend
