Well, shock of all shocks! I got an email from Terri this morning! That lady is an inspiration! Truly amazing recovery....the docs didn't think she would make it, much less come back from the injury! Wow, God is awesome!! Here is her email....
"Good morning girls! I can't stay on here too long but I want to say hi! I got out of the hospital after 4 1/2 weeks! Originally after having my (brain) surgery, twice, the Dr's told my hubby Rick a couple times that I may not make it! I think for about a week or so I was in a coma. Then they told him I would probably be paralyzed on the right side. After another week I started moving a little and laughing!! Going into the 3rd week I started talking, and moving, and thinking pretty well. I was ready to go home, but my husband wouldn't take me home! I got mad at him a couple times. LOL Then the next week and a half I was doing exercises with several different rehab people. The Dr and some people came by and talked to me and my hubby and started saying how they didn't think I would be release for another week or so. I told them they were going to be released by March 24. They kept arguing with me and I said nope, getting out! LOL Finally they said ok. My hubby is so great he came and saw me every day except the day before I was going home. I told him he could do some things that night that he needed to get done at the house.
I'm doing pretty good. I can't drive, I have to wear a helmet, I can't do too much with the horses yet, but I am HOME!!
I am supposed to be going back to surgeon soon and have a tube taken out of my stomach. In a month or two I have to go back to hospital and have another head surgery---bone put back in---I'm hoping to start riding again in 4 - 6 months.
I'm tired now! LOL I'll try and be back on here sometime soon!"

Isn't it though!
She is a "Biker for Christ"....she sure had lots of prayers going out for her! She is one TOUGH cookie I tell you. Anyone else and it would have killed them to be in that serious of a wreck. Not Terri, who is only about 5 feet tall by the way!! She is a fighter supreme!

PTL, that is awesome!
What a testimony she has to share. Thanks for updating us!

I know, right:-(....
I had a bad wreck about 2 months ago on one of my guys and was pretty hesitant to ride again the next day. With my herd though, if I don't work them daily forget about it! They are a mess! Right now, thank God, I am only riding 3 of the 6. When my mares are healed up I will be riding 5. I finally decided to send my Mustang out for training. I am just too tall to ride him well and don't feel comfortable on him like that.
Anyway...sorry to answer with a book! Ha ha!! Have a good one Lisa:-)

That's wonderful
though I don't know how quick I'd be to get back on again. Glad she's doing so well! =)
