OT: St- Paddy's tragedy here in Montreal

Our city has one of the oldest St-Patrick's Day parade in the world. This year it took place on Sunday, with thousands of people cheering on the sidelines. This 20-year-old kid and a buddy (intoxicated, of course), jumped onto a float and then jumped off in front of the vehicle. One of them was killed right on the spot when the float ran over him. People saw the vehicle bump up and then down and started screaming. The driver and the other kid are still in the hospital being treated for shock. sad.gif

What a waste...

Kids that age can't drink legally in the US.

and you are right, what a waste. I can't imagine the pain the families involved are in. What an awful thing to have happen.
