O/T prayer request please.

Hi Guys. Sorry to post this here, I know it isn't dog related, but I also know there are some great prayer warriors here, and right now you are needed.

A friend of mine, Terri Elam, was in a bad riding accident yesterday. She got bucked off her horse and kicked in the head mid-flight. She was unconscious when she landed. Life flight had to come for her...she had emergency brain surgery as soon as she arrived at the hospital. They had to take bone off and clean bone fragments out of the injury, then place a drainage shunt. I don't know any other details except that she is not yet awake. They are talking about brain damage with the family.

Please be praying for Terri, her family, and her friends who were with her when it happened yesterday. They will be pretty traumatized from watching that happen.

I saw a girl killed when I was younger....it was horrible to see happen and I hold that vivid image to this day in my mind.

Terri will hopefully come out ok. I have seen two people with bad brain injuries...one is fine today, one is not at all fine. I sincerely hope Terri is fine.

that is terrible.
That would be a traumatizing thing to see.
My cousin worked excersizing race horses in Ohio, and she got thrown from a horse and it stepped on her head. Thankfully she was wearing a helmet, but she still had to get a metal plate in her head to repair the damage. She is completely fine today!
The human body is so resilient, I will pray that your friend has a full recovery.

Terri is a well known horse woman in Texas. She is not from DFW area, but she shows a lot all over the state.
