way more fun than the main house
Well, it's Sonoma,, but sure!

I like it better than the main house. I guess it's the cozy nest factor.

wow..beautiful...
great pics
also very cute bullies too
Fantastic!
We are planning to build a "bunky" at the cottage this year. Won't be anything nearly as fancy as your guest house, but we're looking forward to it.
Stella wants to know if she and her mummy would qualify as "guests".
thanks..
it was a learning experience! Most important-- hire a contractor you like who understands your vision. The contractor for the main house just didn't get it no matter how many times I explained. The contractor for the guest house can read my mind. It's such a different experience to work with someone you get along with. I'd do another remodel with the guest house contractor.
Sure!

Just for you!
I knew you'd like that. LOL
The house isn't for anyone in particular. Although my mom thinks it's just for her. I keep saying Roxy and I are going to move in there. It's perfect for the two of us.
those cabinets for the guest house were from Lowe's..
I purchased one of Lowe's display kitchens for $400 when they decided to change them all out. The cabinets are "Diamond Reflections, Ellington Maple, Amaretto Cream" The granite is Giallo Santo. There are dozens of granites that look similar.
here it is in the store. We didn't use the Corian counter-
I had to buy extra molding and a sink cabinet which all cost way more than the original cabinets. In the end it was still a bargain though.
If you have any questions, I'm here..
learned a lot from the remodel experience. I've been doing it for two years.
Looks FAB-ulous!!
Wow Elaine!! That looks great! We need to put you out for hire!
Bentley! LOL!
That made my day Elaine! I am in LOVE with that handosme hunk!
That guest house is just beautiful, I can't imagine what the main house looks like. Is there a particular guest in mind for the house, or was it built just in case?
I would LOVE a little retreat away from it all, that would be oh so cool to only have to go across the yard for a vacation!
Cathy
when she first came home
how gorgeous.
My Mom was just looking at these cabinets yesterday. She is remodeling her kitchen. The island will be a coffee color. Same granite though.
